Summer Glau is an American actress who is famous for her role as River Tam in the critically acclaimed TV series Firefly as well as Cameron in the show Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Selena began her career at the age of eight in a group that was formed by Abraham Quintanilla. Selena's older brothers Abraham junior, who played base guitar, and Sister Suzette playing drums, were part of the group. Selena also sang. Selena Y Los Dino was the band's name and Selena would sing with other siblings in restaurants, bars and wedding events. Selena's siblings and she did not have a good childhood because the band took up so much time. Selena as the group's lead singer from the band, received two awards during the Tejano Awards for the year 1987: Female Singer Of the Year and Artist. Selena Y Los Dinos grew in recognition and popularity since that time. The group was featured in a number of Spanish-language television programs such as El Show De Johnny Canales, Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
